Current Projects

Our Mission

Current projects include the creation of the orchard, perimeter fencing to keep the animals safe and allow for grazing. The building of a Patriot's Pavilion to be used for groups and classes. Addition of bathroom facilities.

Daufuskie Community Farm & Artisan Village is dedicated to sustainable and organic farming practices. We are providing a village for our craftsmen and artists on the island to showcase their art and share their skills.

The Daufuskie Community Farm and Artisan Village is staffed 100% by volunteers. Join us and learn the benefits of sustainable and organic farming or share your artistic talents in the Artisan Village.

Groups are encouraged to visit for hands on learning.

School groups can schedule a trip to the Community Farm to learn about sustainable farming through demonstrations and hands on learning.

Groups may also perform community service by helping in all areas of the farm, garden, orchard and artisan village.

School and volunteer groups are encouraged to visit.
